What is personal information?
Personal information is information about an identifiable individual. This includes information such as a person’s name, address, home phone number, email address, postal/zip code and similar such information. Palliser may collect non-personal information in the course of using the Palliser Site. Non-personal information does not identify you as an individual. For example, Palliser may ask you for your postal code to assist in planning what areas to distribute a sales flyer. Palliser also collects certain information from users of the Palliser Site through electronic cookies; this may include the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer and your Internet Service Provider, the date and time you visited the website, and the website pages you read and any content you downloaded from the website. Palliser does not link non-personal information to any other personal information collected in the normal course of its business.
Non-personal information is used by the Palliser website and system administrators to improve the Palliser Site and to provide you with the best possible service.
Do I have to give Palliser my personal information?
In order for Palliser to provide its products and services to you, the provision of certain personal information will be required. Your personal information will also be used by Palliser or on its behalf for secondary marketing purposes, such as providing updates on Palliser products, after-sales and asking for your feedback through surveys and questionnaires. Sharing your personal information with Palliser for these secondary purposes is entirely your choice. If, at any time, you do not want your personal information used for these secondary purposes, you may submit an electronic request to be removed from our mailing lists by clicking unsubscribe in the footer of the Palliser Site.
